Snowshoeing from Hotel Bezzi to Vescasa

Cross the road and take the Tonalina ski slope; the first part of the slope is well-trod, so you do not need to use the snowshoes. Immerse yourself in the environment: the muffled silence, the view over Ponte di Legno and the valley, the cracking of the snow under your snowshoes are your only travel buddies.

Go downhill siding the ski slope and passing the sled dog school; after the kennel, turn right and follow this tiny street, not used by skiers, till Baita Larici, where the path goes a little bit uphill towards the highway. Cross the highway at the guest house run by Pavia diocese and go on downhill for 10 metres, till finding, on the right, the snowy road leading to Vescasa Alta through an enchanting wood.

The path is well-trod because it is also used by free riders as a way back; in 30 minutes you reach the Vescasa lodges.
